ABOUT US

ELCS was founded in 2024 by Lancashire born Gareth Smith. Gareth has a passion for delivering quality training solutions to the health and social care sector and has worked within the sector since 2008.


Gareth's career has seen him working as a Care Assistant, Activities Coordinator, Senior Care Assistant, Deputy Home Manager, Home Based Trainer, Area Trainer, Training Manager and Head of Operations for People Development and Fire Safety.


Gareth has worked for a number of prestigious care providers, alongside some inspirational people, providing him with a wealth of sector experience and acquiring a number of qualifications along the way (Some of which are listed below.)


At ELCS, we want to be a training provider you can trust, therefore, we have become a member of the Association of Healthcare Trainers and an approved provider of "The CPD Group".

Level 5 - Learning and Development Consultant Business Partner. (delivered by CMS Vocational, Certified By Institute for National Apprentices& Technical Education)


Certifying Gareth's ability to use Learning and Development and training solutions as a driving force behind business development.

2022

Fire Manager Certificate (delivered by Vulcan Fire training, approved by the Institute for Fire Safety Management and a recognised educational programme by the Institute of Fire Engineers)


Certifying Gareth's ability to manage, and advise on your fire safety arrangements.

Fire Risk Assessor Certificate (delivered by Vulcan Fire training, and approved by the Institute for Fire Safety Managers)


Enabling Gareth to conduct Fire Risk Assessments in your premises. Ensuring you are aware of the risks to you and your service users.

2013

Level 3 in Health and Social Care. ( delivered by GP Strategies and approved by Ofqual)
